In a bid to ensure that no eligible person is left out of the ambit of welfare initiatives, Municipal Commissioner Harendra Narayan on Monday directed officials to conduct door-to-door surveys in the state capital.
Narayan issued the directives while inspecting a welfare camp organised as part of the Chief Minister's Public Welfare Campaign in Ward 55. The camp focused on extending the benefits of various government schemes and improving public services.
Reviewing applications for Ayushman Bharat health cards, pension schemes, and the Sambal Yojana, Narayan called for swift action on pending cases, especially those related to the issuance of Ayushman cards.
He further underlined the need for the prompt resolution of service-related applications such as name transfers, no-dues certificates, and other cases, with all updates uploaded to the portal to maintain transparency.
For district-level issues like revenue disputes, leases, and caste certificates, Narayan told officials to work in close coordination with the district administration.
To ensure inclusivity, he urged officials to identify left-out beneficiaries through household visits and encourage participation in welfare camps at ward and zone levels.
The goal, he emphasised, is to ensure that all eligible citizens receive their rightful benefits without delay.
