SDM Mhow Pratul Sinha inspected Government Madhya Bharat Hospital Mhow and was surprised to find that the patients were waiting but 10 doctors and 22 other employees including 9 staff nurse were absent. SDM Sinha with Tehsildar Mhow Tapish Pandey during the visit checked the attendance register according to that on duty doctors and nurses, ANM, storekeeper and other employees were absent.
SDM prepared the list of doctors, staff nurses, ANM and storekeeper who were absent. Sinha told that the list of absent doctors will be sent to Indore collector P Narahari and further actions will be taken by him. Also the Government health centre of Gawli Palasia was inspected where also the doctors and ANM were absent. An Aanganwadi was also inspected at Gawli Palasia where the complaint regarding no breakfast was made by the children also the PDS centre was distributing the kerosene in the room.
SDM scolded the owner of PDS centre to keep the kerosene drum outside the room. In last 2 years the government Madhya Bharat hospital is inspected several time by the administration every time the irregularities are found but no actions have been taken against the guilty.
Few months back a tribal girl lost her life in the same hospital as the tumor of the appendix busted in her body while the victim girl was waiting for the doctors since 8 in the morning but no doctors was available till afternoon for her treatment and hence she gave her life in front of her mother due to the appendix tumor burst.
