A 15-year-old tribal girl lost her life due to non-availability of treatment in government hospital of Mhow on Wednesday.

On one hand Government is spending crores of rupees for the infrastructure and development of medical facilities but everything is going waste as the doctors are not available on duties.

The victim Rabina was suffering from appendix and waited for the doctors for more than 5 hours. Due to delay in operation, the appendix exploded in the body and the girl lost her life. The daily wage tribal labour of village Saindal in Mhow, Sadhu Baria told that her daughter was suffering from stomach ache for past two months.

She told that she had come to the Madhya Bharat hospital earlier two times for the treatment. On Wednesday too, her daughter had the pain so she immediately took her to the hospital. But there were no doctors available in the hospital.

She with his daughter sat in the hospital premises for more than 4 hours as the hospital administration told her that doctors will come soon. But none of the doctors came to the hospital till afternoon and his daughter lost her life in the hospital premises in front of her eyes due to delay in the medical care and attention.

She alleged that she lost my daughter due to the negligence of duty of doctors and it is the duty of the State to take care of each and every citizen of the state.
