At the weekly public hearing in the state capital on Tuesday, a differently abled woman was given a tricycle while officials addressed over a hundred citizens’ concerns on the spot.
Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh heard the grievances of residents and ensured immediate redressal of several issues. A total of 132 applications were received during the hearing held at the collectorate.
Senior officials including ADM Bhupendra Goyal, Ankur Meshram, and District Panchayat CEO Ila Tiwari were present as citizens shared concerns ranging from welfare schemes to administrative hurdles.
During the hearing, a tricycle was provided to Omvati, a differently abled resident of Preet Nagar Colony, by the Department of Social Justice and Welfare for the Disabled.
Acting on the collector’s directions, officials ensured that Omvati, the widow of Arjun Singh, received the mobility aid as a step towards her inclusion and independence.
Singh interacted patiently with each applicant and assured swift resolution of their problems. He instructed officers to act with sensitivity and urgency in addressing citizens’ needs.
He further directed field-level officers to follow up on each application and submit timely reports, stressing the administration’s commitment to responsive governance.
