The Madhya Pradesh Assembly on Monday witnessed disruptions during the Question Hour and thee adjournments due to ruckus created over the issues of Parliamentary Affairs Minister Narottam Mishra and senior Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia.

Whereas the principal Opposition Congress raised the issues of Mishra's name being printed in the House's question answer booklet, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) created noisy scenes over washing and sanctification of a trauma centre in Ashoknagar after Dalit Congress leader Gopilal Jatav inaugurated it.

Soon after the House assembled for the Question Hour after paying tributes to former member Mohanlal Sethia, Sunderlal Tiwari of the Congress raised the issue of Mishra's name being printed in the booklet in spite of being disqualified by the Election Commission of India.

Speaker Sitasaran Sharma urged the member to refer to certain provisions in the Constitution.

In the meantime, Rameshwar Sharma of the BJP alleged that Scindia got a hospital in Ashoknagar sanctified with Gangajal after Jatav inaugurated it.

Forest Minister Gaurishankar Shejwar and Minister of State for General dministration lal Singh Arya supported Mishra over the issue. Shejwar charged the Opposition with raising Mishra's issue to divert attention from Scindia's act.

Amid heated exchanges from both the sides, the Speaker asked Tiwari to raise the issue during the Zero Hour and assured that his concerns would be addressed following which the Question Hour resumed.

Soon after the Question Hour ended, Minister of State for Cooperatives Vishwas Sarang said that the Congress should tender an apology for Scindia's act as it amounted to an insult to the Dalit community. Arya said that the House should pass a censure motion.

Meanwhile, the Opposition continued to create pandemonium over Mishra's issue. Amid the din, Sharma adjourned the proceedings for 10 minutes.

When the House re-assembled, both sides continued to create ruckus. As ruling BJP members stuck to their demand for a censure motion against Scindia and Opposition Congress members continued their demand for a clarification on Mishra's issue, the Speaker again adjourned the House for 15 minutes.
