Public Relations and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Narottam Mishra has termed the Congress party as against Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in connection with the tweet of Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh.
After the question hour in the State assembly on Wednesday, Mishra told the House that national leadership of Congress party is not able to accept the fact that a leader of reserved category becomes important.
He informed that Digvijay Singh in his tweet put a question mark on the efficiency of Congress MlA Bala Bachchan, who is at present acting leader of the opposition in the State assembly, by tweeting that Bachchan should immediately raise the issue of Simhastha irregularities in the house.
Mishra stated that Congress leaders are unable to accept the fact that a reserved category leader has become leader of opposition and shouldering his responsibility efficiently. Mishra stated that with this tweet, mean mentality of Digvijay Singh has come to fore.
