Digvijay's statements are 'ridiculous': BJP leader

Published on:

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader and State convener of ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ campaign, Raghunandan Sharma has termed the statement of Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh as ‘ridiculous’.

In a statement, Sharma said on Friday that the people of the country have chosen a good leadership by supporting BJP in the election instead of supporting the inactive UPA Government.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has invited Pakistan’s PM Nawaz Sharif and the nation heads of other neighboring countries in order to extend the message of peace and friendship but Pakistan has initiate bloodshed in Kashmir with the help of terrorism. Digvijay Singh’s allegation that Modi has incited war frenzy action against Pakistan, is condemnable, he added.

Sharma stated that Digvijay Singh’s politics of appeasement has reduced the self confidence of the common man as well as it has ruined the morale of the army. Singh had insulted the martyrs by visiting the families of the terrorist involved in the Batla House encounter.

Sharma further stated that PM Modi has raised the morale of the soldiers by ordering surgical strike after the Uri attack, in which 19 Indian soldiers were killed by the terrorists. Modi has showed that India is not a weak country.

Modi has showed by giving befitting answer to the leaders of Pakistan that India has changed.

Sharma further added the Modi and the Indian army have said that Pakistan and its people are not the aim of India. The aims of the Indian army are terrorists and the camps. Modi has extended its support to Pakistan in order to struggle with poverty, illiteracy and backwardness. Digvijay Singh has always supported the mentality of kneeling down. However, Singh has not expressed his objection on Pakistan’s Army Chief Raheel Sharif’s threat of nuclear attack.
