The ‘dial 100’ scheme launched by the State Government is so high-tech that the police officials posted in the field would receive information regarding any calls made to phone number 100. The software would automatically update the police officers in the ranking of SHO, CSP, SDOP, Additional SP and SP, through SMS on their mobile phones.
After the implementation of this facility, the police officers will be updated about the crimes held in their area.
Within 10-15 mins of crime, the police officer will receive the information. For the smart policing, the police department is experimenting but still these days Police officer are informed on wireless.
Whatsup group is also being made but sometime due to weak signals and internet problems this facility might get suffered. To upgrade the crime alert technique police headquarter has decided to centralize the dial 100 and send the messages on mobile. Due to the facility of dial 100 the Police officers will receive all the information regarding Crime, Riots and law and order on mobile alert and the concerning officers of Police department become responsible to take the action.
During night when the citizens are roaming in the city then they should be well prepared with Photo-ID and complete documents of vehicle. In winter season the criminal activities is on higher side and SP Gwalior Hari Narayan Chari Mishra has directed to all police station in-charge that they should put the checking point and search the passers with name and address.
If they do not find proper documents then they should seize the vehicle and release after the completion of documents formalities also they should search the walkers with ID and find out the reason of roaming.
Police are doing checking from 2 am to 4 am. In late night hours all police station has operated and seized the vehicle which are with out documents.
