Minister of State for General Administration, Narmada Valley Development and Aviation lal Singh Arya told officials to develop Academy of Administration as the best training institute in country.
During discussions with officers at academy here on Monday, Arya said that he was himself a trainee as minister. He appreciated the works done by the academy in the past. Arya said that further excellence has to be achieved. He said that he will work as a worker and not minister. The Minister of State said that all should work unitedly to develop Academy of Administration as the best institution.
Arya went round library, sitcom, NlRMP, IT centre and other sections of the academy and apprised himself of their functioning. Academy’s Director General INS Dani informed that training programme for officers and employees has been chalked out. He informed that district-level training programme has also been chalked out. Dani informed that about 8,000 to 10,000 officers are imparted training at the academy every year. Information about academy’s activities and training programmes was given through power-point presentation.
It was informed at the meeting that an online training package has been chalked out on issues like right to information, information technology, Public Service Delivery Guarantee Act, labour laws and gender sensitisation.
