The Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Department has invited applications for foreign study scholarship 2015-16. The scholarship is being given for post-PhD study, research degree and Post-Graduation degree. Application forms are available on website www.bcwelfare.mp.in. Duly filled forms will be accepted at Commissioner’s office till June 30.
Applicants above18 years and below 35 years of age may obtain benefit of this scholarship scheme. In special cases, age bar can be relaxed by 10 years. Net annual income of applicant and his family must not exceed Rs 6 lakh. Applicant should take admission in any accredited foreign university or institution within one year of getting verification about final selection under the scheme. Details about the scheme may be obtained from Assistant Director, Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare in concerning district.
Applicants employed in Government departments or undertakings may present advance applications, but they should move application through employer within 15 days before the last date.
