Depressed over prolong illness a 18-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at Vajpayee Nagar under Shahjehanabad police station area on Friday. Police said that the deceased Neeraj Kumar was found hanging and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. In the initial investigation, police found that the deceased committed suicide after having a verbal spate with the family as he was frustrated from illness for long and was not in sound mental position.
During the investigation police have not found any suicide note or any reason behind the suicide. The family members told the police that the deceased behaving abnormal and started to fight after which ambulance was called but he behaved normal and asked to pardon him and later committed suicide. It was found that the deceased used to remain depressed for the past few days.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have startedfurther investigation.Meanwhile, a 35-year-old man died after he fell from a house while working at Qazi Camp under Hanumanganj police station area on Saturday.
