The State Government has issued directives to all District Education Officers regarding implementation of Super-100 programme during academic session 2015-16. Directives have been issued to invite 4 out of 6 students (2 each in science and maths) selected on the basis of results of class X exam in every district and get them admitted in class XI in Bhopal’s Subhash School of Excellence. Similarly, 2 students (commerce) will be admitted in Indore’s Government Higher Secondary School, Malhar Ashram. Administration will ensure students’ boarding, food, teaching and training arrangements. Apart from class XI and XII, these students will also be imparted special coaching for 2 years for engineering, medical and chartered accountant.
District level committees would be constituted to ensure transparency in selection of students under Super-100 Scheme. Consent in prescribed form will be obtained from student invited on the basis of merit list. If students securing top position in the merit list decline invitation, students with lesser marks will be given opportunity. Besides, waiting list comprising 9 students will also be chalked out. Students in the waiting list will be given chance if selected students do not come. The government has directed to chalk out students’ selection and waiting lists by June 10. The lists will be sent to principals of both the schools by June 20.
