Vishal Sharma, journalist of an electronic news channel, Bansal News, died of dengue on Saturday night at Greater Kailash hospital, Indore.
He was suffering from dengue since a few days and doctors were administering him blood platelets and medicines but the attempts couldn’t save him as his kidney and liver were badly damaged.
locals alleged that though there is big budget in malaria department of Indore region and hundreds of malaria volunteers are getting high salary to check the malaria and dengue menace but the malaria department is least bothered about the welfare of the people.
On the other hand, the health department is idle and no anti-malaria and anti-dengue sprays are done in Indore district.
The Government is spending crores of rupees for the welfare and safety of health of the people on files and papers but on the ground nothing is visible. The money of the people is going into the pockets of the Government officers and politicians and the common man is suffering, it is widely alleged.
