Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has stated that demonetisation has positively impacted on the black money –economy but Opposition is taking the advantage of people’s dilemma. People of the country would punish the opposition for its political opportunism.
In a statement, BJP’s State vice-president Vijesh lunawat said on Saturday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed to the people to announce their income, afterwards Rs66,000 crore came to the Government by the people. The opposition is protesting against the demonetization while the people of the other countries urge their Governments to scrap the high denomination currency notes from their countries in order to curb the black money. On the contrary, the opposition of India protests the Union Government’s decision of scrapping the high denomination currency notes, he added.
lunawat said that the results of demonetization are exciting and positive, this decision of demonetization would rectify the Indian economy. The Central Government has provided an opportunity of justice to the black money holders through the Income tax amendment bill. The main objective of the bill is to benefit the poor people.
The Government has made this cleared and warned the people that the person who has black money would be punished with the fine and the prison.
lunawat further said that the 25 percent amount, which would be blocked, would be kept in the poor welfare fund according to the income tax amendment bill.
This initiative would help in the poverty eradication schemes of the government and would also help the people.
