Under National Rifle Competition, the final matches in the 10 meter rifle men's senior, junior and youth categories were played in Trial-1 on Tuesday.
The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) is conducting a selection trial for first and second rifle and pistol shooting from March 8 to 30 at the State Shooting Academy.
Delhi's Partha Makhija stood first, West Bengal's Abhinav Shah second and Army's Sandeep third in the 10m Air Rifle Senior Men Final played on Tuesday.
Similarly, in 10m Air Rifle Junior Men, Delhi's Parth Makhija stood first, Rajasthan's Divyansh Pawar second and Telangana's Uma Mahesh third.
Rahi Sarnobat of Maharashtra secured the first position in the 25m Pistol Women event under the competition. Abhidanya Ashok Patil of Maharashtra came second and Haryana's Ridham Sangwan stood third.
Similarly, in the 25 meter pistol women junior category, the player of Haryana stood first, second and third. Manu Bhaker stood first, Ridham Sangwan in second and Tejashwini in third place.
Matches to be played on March 16
On March 16, the finals in the Women's and Junior Women's categories will be played in the 25m Pistol Trial-2. Under Trial-1, 50 meters Final Stage Part 1 and 2 will be played against Women and Junior Women.
