The partially decomposed body of a 35-year old man was found at Bellaire apartment under Bairagarh police station area on Friday.
On Friday, the neighbours noticed a foul smell from the apartment and informed the police. A police team reached the spot and broke the door to enter the apartment and found the body of Dinesh Sawani.
Police have not recovered any suicide note and are not able to provide any reason behind the suicide. The family used to live in Bairgarh and owned the apartment which Sawani used to visit.
He used to work at a shop but had left the work around two months ago and lived in the apartment.
During the investigation police found a glass and signs of vomiting which suggests that the deceased might have committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance but nothing could be ascertained at the moment but only after receiving the post mortem report.
Police claimed that the body is around 4-5 days old. “Dinesh used to remain in the apartment,” said his uncle Bhagwan Sawani. The police have registered a case under Section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
Meanwhile, a 54-year-old SAF personnel who was hit by speeding vehicle on January 27, 2015 in Ratibad area died on Friday while undergoing treatment at Narmada hospital.
Nand Kishore Chandrawat posted with the 7th Battalion of SAF as Band Master was hit by a speeding vehicle succumbed to injuries on Friday. After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and a case under Section 304 A of the IPC was registered against the errant driver. The search for the errant driver has been intensified.
