The death anniversary of late Ram Rekha Devi was celebrated at the charitable hospital run by Lokhitkari Trust, situated at Lohamandi area of Gwalior city. The celebration was attended by his family members Swatantra Kumar, Ajay Kumar, Vijay Roshan, Abhay Kumar, Vinay Kumar and Bhavna Shah along with the office bearers of the trust, Keshav Pandey, Prakash Narayan Sharma, Ganesh Chaturvedi, Subhash Ojha, Usha Chaturvedi and Deepak Tomar. During the program Swatantra Kumar offered floral tributes to the goddess.
Fruits and sweets were distributed to the patients, their attendants and needy children from the surrounding areas. Speaking at the function, Bhavna Shah, daughter-in-law of late Ram Rekha Devi said that the charitable hospital being run by Lokhitkari Trust is proving to be a boon for the needy. Along with health check-up, free medicines, fruits and sweets and other gifts are also distributed to the patients coming to the hospital.
She added that human beings wander here and there in search of happiness in life, but real happiness can be found in the service of the poor and the needy.
