Day temperatures to dip slightly in next 3-4 days

The day temperatures would dip slightly in the next 3-4 days and later, the weather conditions would attain normal course with hike in day temperatures across the State. Met department told that a system over South Rajasthan and adjoining Gujarat is inducing good moisture incursion in the State, which is resulting into the changed weather conditions.

The weather conditions provided relief from the scorching heat conditions, which prevailed at the start of the week in the city. Cloudy weather conditions were witnessed in the city on Friday and Met department officials claimed that the weather conditions would remain and thundery activities would be witnessed in the next 2-3 days.

The night temperatures are not going to witness change and would remain at current levels. City recorded day temperature at 36.9 degrees Celsius while the day temperature was recorded at 20.3 degrees Celsius. Indore recorded day temperature at 37.4 degrees Celsius while night temperature was recorded at 21.6 degrees Celsius. Among the major cities, Jabalpur recorded the lowest night temperature at 18.8 degrees Celsius.

The day temperatures in the next 24 hours would be witnessed around 36 degrees Celsius and the night temperatures would be witnessed around 21 degrees Celsius.

Dhar, Ratlam and Khargone recorded the highest day temperature at 41 degrees Celsius and the lowest night temperature was recorded at 15 degrees Celsius.  

Met department told that Gwalior and Chambal divisions would receive thundery activities and light showers in the next 24 hours. Tikamgarh and Chhatarpur districts are likely to receive thundery activities and light showers in the next 24 hours.
