Heavy police force was deployed in search of the miscreants who had attacked a police team near Sanskar Valley School late on Thursday night. However, the cops failed to nab them after several hours of intensive search which continued for the whole day on Friday.
Few persons have been detained but police refused to reveal the details and claimed that the gang would be nabbed soon.
After failing to nab the miscreants on Thursday night the search was intensified and persons were detained. The miscreants were armed and fired in the air to threaten the police and escaped the spot.
Notably at around 1 in the night police patrolling team reached the spot after receiving information about a blocked road and was attacked.
After the van was attacked on the spot, police personnel informed and requested for help and later when the second van arrived at the spot it was also targeted by the miscreants. Stones were pelted and bullets were fired in the area by the miscreants in which window panes of the police vans were broken.
The police have claimed that there were around 6 miscreants but the number was higher which was found by the police in the search as the attack was fierce by the miscreants which kept the police personnel from chasing initially and later when they escaped towards forest then only the police were able to chase them but failed to nab them.
Notably, on August 30, three persons were robbed of valuables worth `2 lakh while on their way back from Kaliasot area and it is suspected that the roads was blocked with the intention of robbery with the commuters but this time the miscreants failed.
