The youngsters of the city took away the hearts of the Bhopalites with their fantastic dance moves. A dance programme 'Summer Funk 2015' was held here on Thursday at Shaheed Bhavan Auditorium. Organized by Nav Nritya Natya Sanstha, Bhopal and Warriors Crew dance academy the dance programme was all about music, dance and fun.The dance programme was organized to mark the conclusion of a month long dance workshop which was organized for the youngsters. The children from 5 years to 20 years participated in the programme. According to the dance expert Sanjay Ingle, the children were taught the basics of all dance forms during the workshop.
He said that from traditional to modern dance forms all were taught to the participants to brush up their skills in dance. It was a month long workshop where the children learnt about the body language, dance steps and even the facial expressions.The children enjoy dancing and they are always keen to learn something new. Also to perform on a movie song was something really exciting for them, he added. The students enjoyed the workshop to the fullest and discovered the magnificence and innocence of different dancing styles in the workshop.
Here on Thursday, the audience were enthralled to watch them performing with much confidence and enthusiasm. The children gave performances on Bollywood tracks. The participants presented various dancing forms like, fusion, hip hop, popping and locking and many others. They also performed on latest tracks from movie ABCD 2 especially. Each performance was different from another that added much zest in the programme. The children performed on stage with a lot of fervor leaving the audience totally mesmerized.
