The dance lovers of the State capital enjoyed the Sunday evening watching an energetic dance competition at Ravindra Bhavan Auditorium. The event was organized by lok Uthaan Welfare Society for the Bhopalites to experience the new era of dance.
Notably, Kanika Tiwari (Dharma Production’s Agneepath fame) was also present during the programme. Some solo and some group performers were selected for the competition who adorned the stage with their performances.
The programme began with the Ganesh Vandana. The performance was splendidly given by Danish Patil Dance Group. The event was further followed by various solo and group performances leaving the audiences enthralled. Aqsa Khan gave a solo performance followed with a performance of local dance group lady Birds. The performers are street workers who formed this dance group.
Kanika Tiwari also gave a special performance during the event. Not only this, the dance lovers also got a chance to watch Dance India Dance (Zee Tv) fame Neerav Bavlecha live performance followed with the performance of Dhoon Rock Band (Indore), followed with the rhythmical performance by Disk Jockey luck.
Further the event was followed with the performances of Steps Dance Academy and Danish Patil Dance group Bhopal. The event also included a short stage play by the children associated with the organization. The play would portray real life story of the rag pickers and orphans to the Bhopalites in a heart-touching manner. The play beautifully gave a social message and also showcased the struggles of such children.
