Prashant was working on Call Detail Record (CDR) and technical documents related to MPPEB examination scam for the Madhya Pradesh STF then why he has been arrested by Madhya Pradesh STF,” said Prashant Pandey’s wife Mehgna while speaking with the media persons on Friday.
Cyber expert Prashant Pandey was arrested by the STF for allegedly selling documents related to MPPEB examination scam investigation which has exposed the investigation. STF has claimed that Pandey has illegally sold confidential documents CDR related to MPPEB examination scam.
After his arrest on Thursday, Pandey’s father Rajendra Pandey and wife Meghna Pandey arrived in the city on Friday and discussed the future legal proceedings with their lawyers.
Pandey’s father Rajendra Pandey was surprised over Prashant’s arrest and said that Prashant was working for STF for the past 2-3 months but he was shocked with sudden arrest of Prashant and he is not able to understand the reason behind his arrest.
He has also alleged that STF had promised job in return of his services in the investigation. For the period in which Prashant has provided his services he was not provided with money but was obliged with providing accessories in return of his services which helped him.
Earlier after the arrest of Sonu and Prashant Pandey by STF leader of Opposition in the state assembly Satyadev Katare has alleged that both Sonu and Prashant Pandey were working for the STF and it raised serious security concerns over the whole investigation process as outsiders have been included in the investigation related to serious nature.
