Cyber cell has nabbed two miscreants involved in posting indecent photographs to a girl whose brother failed to provide NoC of sold motorbike. The police on Tuesday arrested the accused who were absconding for long and recovered the SIM card used in the crime.
Two absconding accused were nabbed by cyber cell who were missing for long and were involved in posting indecent photographs of victim girl and used inappropriate language in the messages. The nabbed accused persons were identified as Bakar Ahmed (23) and Musabir alias Mussu alias Sameer (23) of Burhanpur.
The victim Rahil Khan of the city sold his Bajaj Pulsar 220 to the two accused who are residents of the Burhanpur and later when Rahil delayed in providing NOC the accused started to abuse him over phone and threatened her of life.
On the receipt of the information after the preliminary investigation a case under section 506 and 507 of the IPC and sections 66 C and 67 of the IT Act and started further investigation.
In the investigation it was found that the SIM card used was operated from Burhanpur and based on the details the user was tracked but it was found that their sons were using the SIM card and have used the same in sending indecent photographs.
The two went absconding and after they were nabbed they confessed the crime. Bakar works as welder while Sameer used to work as ice seller. During the investigation it was found that the accused used the SIM card issued in the name of their parents.
