As many as 62 people, including 16 clerks, are involved in a customer care and billing scam. In this scam, the electricity company’s AE, JE along with CCNB Software developed company TCS company employees are among those who are involved.
In the initial official action Electricity Company has given the explanation letter to all the 62 people but the electricity company has taken the action against 16 clerks and transferred them to other places. Till now there has been no action against the AE and JE.
In this matter all the four electricity companies have given the explanation letter to their clerks who are retired. letter was based on the use of secret ID. Umesh Chandra Tripathi has received explanation letter in which there is the muddle of amount of five lakh and forty thousand rupees. On the same issue Puran Singh Kushwaha was served the explanation letter. Actually all retired clerks have raised the objection and blamed the officers for this mistake.
The most shocking thing is that from Gwalior Bhopal AE Deepak Pachori’s ID was used to credit his house electricity bill. let us assume that AE has misused his ID but there were so many questions raised for this type of act. In the list of 62 peoples Deepak Pachori name is also there. Now it is more important that company has to move in right direction for the investigation.
There are some suspicious questions for the company that the retired clerks login ID was active even though they were retired from the service. The company is trying to find out as who is responsible to de-activate the login ID. Company has made the login ID of CCNV software of the employees in which the code no of employee was the password, which is very easy to detect. The employee code of any department employee is very easy to detect then why the password was kept in this manner by the company. Any credit of benefit to the consumer should be given by JE, AE or DE and they are the authority but when the bill was revised then why the company hasn’t look in to this matter. Company has transferred the clerks but till now why the JE, AE and other concerned officers were not called for action.
