Chief Secretary Anthony DeSa reviewed progress of works related to Simhastha at Mantralaya here on Monday.
He sought information especially regarding works being undertaken by Urban Development and Environment, PWD, PHE, Forest and Narmada Valley Development departments. He also reviewed works of Health, Tourism and Culture departments, Ujjain Municipal Corporation and Ujjain Development Authority. Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and Secretaries of these departments attended the meeting.
The Chief Secretary directed concerning departments and agencies to complete all works by December 2015. Concerning departments gave information about infrastructural works completed for Simhastha at Ujjain so far.
He said that all sanctioned works should be completed without delay to hold prestigious Simhastha event.
