Addressing the Rotary Club, Gwalior, Gwalior SP Harinarayan Chari Mishra said that with the effective policing, criminal activities are decreasing day by day. He further said that the mode of the crime has changed.
Earlier, the form of crime was conducted in limited way but nowadays cyber crime has also become a major problem and through cyber crime, criminals are out to cheat innocent people. Often it has been observed that through information criminals collect details about the ATM card and withdraw the money from victims’ account. All this was conducted in such a manner that one should not judge that it is a fake call and provides all the relevant information to the caller.
This way, it has become very difficult to identify the culprits. At several times, it has happened that the call comes from the relative’s number but this call was made through internet with software and the receiver gets confused and unable to make out whether it is a fake call or it has come from the bank and provides the information but it is our duty that we should call that number and collect the information so that we will be able to find out the cyber crime.
During the programme of Rotary club, Mishra has given all valuable information to the members and further said that be aware with the conman. He also said that whatever crime is conducted by the criminals but always they left some clue which helps in investigation process.
In the programme of Rotary club Gwalior President Adesh Bansal, Secretary Rajendra Malhotra, Satish Ajmera, Radheshyam Rathi, Ashok Goyal and other 45 members were present.
