Crime branch Bhopal on Tuesday nabbed an absconding criminal who was serving life time imprisonment and went missing after getting parole from Central jail Bhopal on July 15, 2014.
According to the crime branch police the accused Anand Solanki (32) was nabbed who never reported to Bhopal jail after getting parole.The victim was booked for strangulating his wife in the year 2005 and was sentenced to life imprisonment in the year 2006.In the investigation the nabbed miscreant told that the he used to live in Shivnagar with his family and used to work as an auto rickshaw driver.
When the victim was working as an auto rickshaw driver he met Tahir and Sonu alias Shakti Tomar who have an add agency office in Malviya Nagar. later the accused developed relationship with Shakti and introduced her as his wife in the family and the parents also accepted her.After few days frequent fights were witnessed between Shakti and the accused due to which he shifted to a rented house in Ashoka Garden but in the absence of accused Shakti used to meet with her friends which made the accused angry and he started living in Shivnagar in a rented house near his parents house.
One day when accused was with his parents Shakti came and started abusing his parents which infuriated him and Shakti was strangulated to death.
The accused was nabbed and later sentenced to life imprisonment. During his jail term he was released on parole for five times and each time he returned on time but this time he had not returned after which a case under section 224 of the IPC by Gandhi Nagar police station was registered on July 15, 2014.
