Crime branch Bhopal busted gang of fraudsters involved in producing fake note sheet of MLA and MP of transfer of State Government employees; note sheet and letter head of BJP MLA Ramlal was produced and was sent to CMO Vallabh Bhawan for transfer.
Among the arrest peon of Education Department who was the lone accused from government department used to provide letter head.
Acting on information received from higher department regarding complaints of fake note sheets and letterheads crime branch started investigation and arrested five accused involved in operating the nexus.
The nabbed accused were identified as Ramprasad Rahi(36), Lakhanlal(35), Ram Kirshna Rajput (31), Dashrath Rajput(44) and Ramgopal Parashar(54).
Earlier in the investigation it was found that a total of 20 letter heads and note sheets have been misused by the nexus. The bulk of which 27 were of education department while 2 were of Revenue Department and 1 from Health Department.
The nexus unearthed after two key accused Ramprasad Rahi alias Gupta ji and Lakhanlal were found collecting money in their family members bank account and a total of Rs 79000 was collected.
The two were arrested who revealed that Ramgopal Prashar who works as peon with education department and worked at former minister Praburam Choudhary used to provide copy of letter head at Rs 5000.
Ramkrishna and Dashrath used to produce fake letter head at their photocopy shop at TT Nagar area. Printer, computer and paper materials used to produce fake documents were seized.
