The crime branch Bhopal police have busted 10 member gang including two women who were involved in facilitating bail for accused using forged documents; gang was nabbed near district court and fake documents and stamp seals were in large number were recovered from their possession.According to the police, acting on a tip off regarding men near district court premises who were involved in producing forged documents to secure bail were nabbed by the police.
The police nabbed 10 persons including 2 women and when they were asked initially regarding their gathering near the district court premises they failed to provide satisfactory answer and later large number of forged documents were recovered from their possession.
The nabbed accused were identified as Ganesh Makwana (60) of Vishwakarma Nagar, Rajendra Singh Meena (38) Bairagarh Chichli, Sanjay Shrivastava (42) of Chola Mandir, Sandeep Kushwaha (32) of Raisen, Ramesh Yadav (30) of Aishbagh, Durgesh Yadav (28) of Aishbagh, Lokesh Yadav (50) of Ashoka Garden, Ashiya Bi of Bairagarh Chichli and Maya Bai of Aishbagh.
During the investigation it was found that Lokesh Yadav gathered the gang member to bring with fake documents as they were provided with money while the Ganesh Makwana used to provide the fake documents to the gang members. The gang was active for the past two years. Rajendra Meena and Sanjay Shrivastava, Durgesh were involved in making forged documents and Rajendra Meena would search for people in need for guarantor for securing bail and at the time of the deal other members would remain present.
Interestingly the gang would collect details of family members of prisoner and would also rehearse before producing documents in court.
