Crime Branch and Bairagarh police have arrested a gang of six members including a minor and recovered Rs 4 lakh and 4 purchased motorcycles from robbed money, accused also spent money on bar dancers; accused robbed Rs 6 lakh from a trader on a scooter carrying cash on January 24.
The accused used to loot under the guise of painting work, the complainant was on target for the last 6 months. The accused bought new clothes, mobile and Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle from the looted money and spent exorbitantly on bar dancers.
The main accused celebrated in a hookah bar with looted money. The accused were identified as Javed Uddin, Mohammad Laeek, Sameer alias Babla, Adnan Khan, Altaf Khan and a minor youth. Javed was earlier booked for assault in police station Nishatpura.
On date January 24, 2023, Daulat Parwani(53) was on his way back home on his scooter bearing registration number MP04UJ9750 and at around 9 in the evening , as soon as he reached in front of Hotel Golden Village three unknown boys over bike came and hit him with a stick due to which fell and the accused escaped with his scooter.
The mastermind of the incident works in the cosmetic shop of Alim Kainchi Wala located in Jumerati. The entire conspiracy to commit the robbery was hatched by him. He has been working at the shop for almost 3 years and was aware that Daulat Parwani for a long time that he had money that the complainant used to carry lakhs of rupees in a bag every day.
Earlier they failed to rob when the victim was carrying Rs 27 lakh. On January 24 they robbed the victim. The accused did recce for months and after which committed the robbery.
