Cricket academy evicted after CM's instant order

A new avtar of confident looking Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has surfaced soon after he took oath of office for the third consecutive time on Saturday. In his new avtar Chouhan is taking instant decisions.

On Sunday, Chouhan continued his spree of instant decisions when he was holding direct dialogue with the youths in a programme at Maharani laxmi Bai Girls College (MlB). A girl made a complaint that in the girls’ college a cricket academy for boys is being run causing uneasiness to the girls.

The Chief Minister immediate took note of the complaint and instructed the Bhopal Collector to resolve issue immediately despite the fact that the cricket academy in question was run by a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former MlA Dhruv Narayan Singh in his late father's name.

Chouhan's holdover the administration was witnessed soon after the Chief Minister left the venue, the Bhopal Municipal Corporation's (BMC) anti-encroachment squad started removing the academy belongings from the girls' college campus. The BMC squad was called by the collector while Chouhan was holding dialogue with the youths.

The new style of Chief Minister's working on the one hand has pleased the people of the State and they are happy that their works would now get done immediately while it has concerned the bureaucracy that is the habit of dilly-delaying things as it would now have to remain on toes for resolving people issues.

Notably, Chouhan started the third innings by signing an order for providing rice at Re one per kg to the poor announced in BJP's poll manifesto and vowed not to allow any new liquor shop in the State. Soon after taking oath, Chouhan started the business of putting his promises into action by clearing four schemes and announced a major campaign to protect the girl child right in front of the people. "What we had promised before election I am fulfilling in front of you. It is a reflection of our transparent governance model," Chouhan told the gathering after the oath ceremony.
