An open mega covid vaccination camp for all people above 18 years was organized by the Department of Paramedical and Nursing Sciences at Rabindranath Tagore University on Friday.
More than 150 people have been vaccinated by Anushree Tomar, Chiklod PHC. The vaccination camp was for all the working employees and was also opened for all the dependent family members and stakeholders associated with RNTU Bhopal. A separate help desk was also set up to streamline the process and assist elderly people.
Giving information about the vaccination camp, Dean C.P. Mishra said, we had requested all the heads of departments, faculties, housekeeping staff and villagers of the adopted villages of RNTU to make the most of the vaccination camp. Since it was opened to everyone above the age group of 18, the number of registrations was higher than expected.
Camp coordinator Avinash Singh informed that more than 150 people have been registered. This also includes some elderly retired employees and their dependents. Vice Chancellor Brahm Prakash Pethia said that the university always plays its active role in social concerns, in this episode this vaccination camp was also organized.
The Registrar of the University, Vijay Singh expressed his gratitude towards the State Government, especially the State Health Authorities, Paramedical and Nursing Faculties.
