Three miscreants who were arrested for sexually assaulting a woman in a moving bus late on Wednesday night were produced in the court and were sent for one- day police custody on Friday.
The police officials paraded the accused in public while inspecting the scene of crime.
Two of the accused were nabbed by the police but the third accused identified as Vivek Shrivastava alias Raju who was absconding was nabbed by the police late in the night on Thursday.
Notably late night on Wednesday a 43-year-old woman was allegedly raped by bus conductor in moving bus, she boarded bus at Nadra bus stand to return home in Govindpura after visiting her brother at Nariyalkheda and on her way she would alight off the bus at Pul Bogdha but the bus driver Salman Khan took the bus towards Hoshangabad road and the conductor Deepak sexually assaulted the victim.
The victim had managed to escape the bus near Income Tax office in Arera Hills area and lodged a complaint. The bus crossed two check points during which the sexual assault but none at the check point got alerted.
Police said that the clothes of the accused have been recovered which they were wearing at the time of the incident and spots have also been verified where the incident took place in the investigation so far.
At the time of the incident there were four persons in the bus. Deepak Sharma, Salman Khan, Vivek Shrivastava and the accused. Vivek is driver and was on duty driver for the bus in the day. During the investigation crime record of the accused would be searched and would be interrogated for such crimes.
