A young couple committed suicide after their family members didnt agree for their marriage as they belonged to different castes. The two decided to commit suicide and hanged themselves to death in a field near their house on Saturday morning.
The incident took place in Purani Chawani police station area, but no suicide note could be found.
The name of the deceased girl is Kajal Khatik and that of boy is Vinod Batham. Both were residents of village Heera Nagar under Purani Chawani police station.
Father of the girl is a truck driver and Vinod Batham was a street food vendor. On the night of Friday both of them disappeared at 2 am. There family members searched them at the railway station and bus stand all the night but in the morning they received information about suicide of Kajal and Vinod.
As soon as the police got the information, they reached the spot with the forensic team. After initial investigation the police sent the bodies for postmortem. The bodies were then police handed over the respective families after the postmortem.
