The Chhola Mandir police have booked a couple involved in duping Bhopal based woman to the tune of Rs 3 lakh in the name of facilitating job in government; accused lured job for victim’s daughter.
Police said that the victim Aarti Dwivedi was duped by fraudster Uma Shankar Vishwakarma and his wife to the tune of Rs 3 lakh. During the investigation it was found that few more people have been duped in other areas luring the same offer of facilitating job in government departments.
Police said that the fraudster was acquainted with the accused whose wife used to work with secretariat and lured victim of facilitating job for her daughter at the secretariat. Around two years ago victim’s daughter cleared class 12 and in search job for her victim got trapped and got cheated.After the victim agreed she provided Rs 3 lakh in parts to the accused. Even after receiving Rs 3 lakh accused failed to help victim is getting job with the department.The accused asked him money for facilitating job as employees and officials have to be provided with money and collected money in parts in different bank accounts.
The police registered a case of fraud against the accused and started further investigation. The accused assured that soon they would be providing appointment letters of Government jobs but failed and after which victim lodged complaint with the police.
