Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan held a meeting with Collectors and District Election Officers through video conferencing from Nirvachan Sadan, Bhopal on Tuesday. Under the Madhya Pradesh Assembly Elections-2023, the preparations being made in the districts related to the counting of votes to be held on December 3 were discussed in detail district wise and necessary instructions were given.
Rajan said that the counting of votes for the Assembly Elections-2023 will begin on December 3 at 8 am with the counting of postal ballots. Counting of votes recorded in EVMs will begin from 8:30 am. All District Election Officers should be alert and vigilant and conduct the counting of votes in a transparent manner. Security arrangements by Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) should be made in the strong rooms.
