The female buyers were seemingly interested in buying the jute purses, handbags, mojris adorned with pearls and mirror karigari, cotton stoles, and also the imitation jewellery.
Interestingly, there is an array of Maheshwari and Chanderi designed dress materials. The wonderful collection of dress materials in Maheshwari and Chanderi cotton, Kosa Silk are designed in different patterns and prints. Printed materials beautifully embellished with Batik Print, Dabu Print, Hand-Block Print, Bagh Print were the major spots of attraction at the fair on the last day.
There are cotton stoles and long skirts that can be added to the wardrobe for this summer attire.
The people were also spotted buying dry eatables like banaras ka paan, handmade sweets and other stuff as well.
Notably, the fair is being organised every year to help the Self Help Groups (SHGs) from different parts of the country. With an aim to let them sell the special items of their region without the interference of the middle man, the fair is organised. Further, it also promotes the self- employed artisans living under poverty line and also to let the people of the city and even tourists enjoy shopping in a unique way.
