Food and Civil Supplies Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah has clarified about news published in a section of the newspapers regarding selfie with Minister.
Kunwar Shah has made it clear that scheme to take selfie with him at a cost Rs 10 is confined only to his Harsud Vidhan Sabha constituency in Khandwa district. He said that this would not be compulsory for all even in Harsud Vidhan Sabha constituency.
Only those capable can give Rs 10. But those unable to give this amount will not be stopped from taking selfie. Kunwar Shah said that the Rs 10 each amount given voluntary by people on taking selfie with him would be used in Tribal Old Age Home to be opened in April next in his Vidhan Sabha constituency. He said that funds from other sources are also being collected for Tribal Old Age Home.
Kunwar Shah said that that this idea had struck his mind long ago. He wished to open Tribal Old Age Home in his Vidhan Sabha constituency through public cooperation. Craze of taking selfie has increased among people during recent times. Keeping this in view, funds for social work can also be collected this medium.
The Minister said that he has informed that a prescribed amount is taken on snapping photograph and shaking hands with Britain's Queen Elizabeth's daughter Princes Any. The funds collected thus are spent on social work in Britain.
Minister Kunwar Shah has clarified that this concept is still under consideration. Final decision will be taken after meetings with constituency's people.
