The company secretaries (CS) students learned about various aspects of smart city concept. A corporate visit was organised by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) Bhopal Chapter here on Friday.
The students were taken on a tour to Bhopal Smart City Development Corporation limited, BHEl workshop. During the educational visit as many as 50 students of ICSI Bhopal branch learned about different aspects of CS and smart city as well. During the visit, the members of managing committee of Smart City Development Corporation and faculty members of ICSI were also present. During their visit the students learned about many facts of Company Secretariat. The students were told about how to create a sturdy platform for themselves when they move out of their classrooms to the practical world. The students took a walk through of the company and learned about the working features of different departments of smart city concept. They guided by Company Secretariat Yogesh Khakre. An expert lecture was also held during their visit. During the expert lecture, Yogesh told the students about the new advanced incubation centre that works on the basics of B-Nest. He told the students that all the theory they are learning will be applied in the practical world. While interacting with the students Yogesh said that this educational visit is a practical lesson for them. While emphasizing on the future endeavours of the students he said that all these applications they had seen during educational visit will prove to be a boon for their career. It is to be noted that ICSI is observing Students’ Month across the country under which the visit was organised. Besides, many other events will be organised under the Students’ Month. CS Yogesh Khakre detailed the students about it. A questionnaire was also held during the visit. The students asked about their various queries to the experts.
