Shahpura police failed to trace two minor sisters who went missing from their residence in Ajay Nagar in the afternoon on Thursday; a case of kidnapping was registered late in the night.
Police said that the two sisters Pinki Baragi (17) and Jyoti Bairagi (15) went missing from their house in the afternoon. The father of the missing girls Narendra Das Bairagi tried to find them but failed to find them and later approached police.
SHO Shahpura Jitendra Patel said that two minor girls went missing in the afternoon on Thursday.
In the initial investigation it was found that the girls left the house as they were angry with the parents but to ascertain the reason at the moment is not possible and search has been intensified.
Patel said that the girls have not been kidnapped and have left the house without informing the parents. The relatives and acquaintances have been contacted for finding the whereabouts of the missing girls.
Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 363 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
The victims went missing from their house at around 2 pm and after the victims went missing family members started searching for the victims but failed to the find them and later lodged a missing complaint late in the night with Shahpura police.
Till the filing of the report the two remained untraceable and search for the two was intensified by the police.
