The district police are learnt to have solved the case in which a 22-year-old youth was found murdered at Kolukhedi on June 26, and nabbed two miscreants who planned and executed the murder.
SP Bhopal (North) Arvind Saxena said that two persons have been detained who are involved in the killing of the victim but in what capacity they were involved in the murder is yet to be determined. However, one of the accused is said to be a lover of the victim’s wife while the other is his relative.
The investigations are yet to be completed to provide the details and it would not be appropriate to provide incomplete details as the whole truth has to be revealed by the accused and others involved have to be identified. However, Saxena refused to reveal the details of the two detainees but confirmed that the case has been solved.
According to the sources lover of victim’s wife is involved in the murder but she has not helped him. Sources have revealed the name of the two nabbed accused as Virendra alias Viru Meena and Sandeep.
Earlier on June 26 sensation prevailed in Kolukhedi area after body of a 22-year-old youth was found at Kolukhedi forest under Khajuri police station area. locals spotted a body outside Kolukhedi and informed the police. In the initial probe the deceased was identified as Manish Meena.
Police said the circumstantial evidences suggest the victim was strangulated to death. The victim got married in the month of May.
