A 27-year-old married woman committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling at Nehru Nagar police line quarters under Kamla Nagar police station area on Wednesday.
In the afternoon on Wednesday the deceased Namrata Sharma was found hanging by her husband Prashant who is posted as constable with Kamla Nagar police.
The reason of the suicide remained unknown as deceased’s husband told the police that there were no issues in their family life and was living happily.
The couple got married in 2015 and was not having any child which could be possible reason of the suicide but to ascertain the reason is not possible at the moment said police.
Police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC after the preliminary investigation and have started further investigation.
Meanwhile, a 38-year-old married woman who was injured on April 7 died while undergoing treatment on Tuesday; deceased sustained burn injuries while cooking at her house in Ismalpura.
According to the police the deceased Nusrat Jahan was rushed to a nearby hospital and later she was shifted to lake City hospital where her condition deteriorated further on Monday and died in the wee hours on Tuesday.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation. The victim sustained burn injuries while cooking after the stove exploded. She sustained severe injuries in the incident.
