State Bharatiya Janata Party has dismissed Congress allegations over implementations of Sachar Committee recommendations in the state and termed Committee recommendations as an exhibition of appeasement of Muslims.
BJP minority cell state president Hidayatullah Sheikh in a statement here on Sunday said, "The state Congress' co-spokesperson Sajid Qureshi's allegation have no substance. In fact the Sachar Committee recommendations are exhibition of appeasement of Muslims by the Congress."
Sheikh said the BJP does not believe in minority's appeasement but it believed in the empowerment of all sections of the society including minorities. After Independence Congress has ruled the country for over four and a half decade in the country and over five decades in Madhya Pradesh and if despite this the minorities are backward than how come the Congress get away from holding responsibility of their plight, he added.
He said the Sachar Committee is not a tool for the empowerment of Muslims but an instrument to show them isolated and a mean to insult them. Terming the statement of Congress leader as unfortunate he said if the welfare of the Muslims would have been in the hands of any committee then Congress governments would have formed dozens of committee.
Sheikh said for improving conditions spirit and passion is needed that is shown by the BJP government of the state and chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The good works done by the Chouhan government have won the hearts of the minority's of the state. There are equal opportunities of betterment available for the Muslims in the state due to which per capita income of the minority's has gone up, he added.
He said that equal opportunities of development and equal justice are real secularism that BJP is practicing in the state.
