Congress yatra will only boomerang, warns BJP

Taking a dig at the Congress party, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State spokesman Vijendra Singh Sisodia has said that Madhya Pradesh Congress president Arun Yadav is bringing negativity though his yatra.

Sisodia in a statement here on Thursday said that Yadav by bringing negativity is not weakening the State Government rather his own party Congress  will be harmed and it would further weaken in the State.

He said that the State Government has reduced the interest on crop loans and by providing interest-free loans to the farmers it has provided a direction to the world. As far as there is question of swindling the farmers it is the Congress that has always swindled the farmers by making them its vote-bank, he said.

He said that wherever Yadav would go in the State especially those regions where crops were damaged he would find that the BJP Government of the State has made war footing efforts to distribute the Rs4000 crore relief to the farmers. The administrative staff is engaged round the clock in providing relief to the farmers. With the efforts of the State Government an insurance amount of Rs3500 crore would be deposited soon in the accounts of the farmers, he added.

He said the Centre has also provided a special package of Rs2033 crore for the farmers of the State to provide them relief. The Congress instead of shedding crocodile tears for the farmers should get face to face with the reality that the farmers of the State are getting adequate relief from the BJP Governments of Centre and the State, he added.
