Congress will win 13 lS seats in MP: Ajay Singh

Senior Congress leader Ajay Singh on Monday claimed that the May 16, election result would be another Pokhran for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its senior leader Uma Bharti would soon return in State politics as Chief Minister, while Congress would win 13 seats in Madhya Pradesh.

Singh while talking to media persons said, “Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has taken risk of losing more and more seats by getting tickets for his well-wishers. Former chief minister Uma Bharti wished to contest from Bhopal but she was forced to fight from Jhansi where she would definitely lose the election.”

Singh further said that though Bharti would lose the general election from Jhansi, but she would come back to power and would once again become the Chief Minister of the State.

Singh, a former leader of Opposition in the State Assembly and Congress candidate from Satna parliamentary constituency claimed that Congress would win 13 of the total 29 lok Sabha seats of the State. Wave of change is running in the state and let Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan do any claims but he knows well that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is not going to get 23 seats from the total 29 seats of the State, he added.

He said that Chouhan has taken several such decisions to better his relations that would result in BJP losing many seats. “I had been saying since long that only Uma Bharti is leader of stature in the BJP on whose name the saffron party came to power in the state. And it is due to her that Chouhan and Babulal Gaur got the chance to be chief minister of the state. But the BJP has always done injustice with her and this time also she was fielded deliberately from Jhansi as the party is very weak there, he added.
