Congress party would take out a ‘Jan Jagran Yatra’ in Narela assembly constituency of the State capital from May 10 to make the people aware of the plight of constituency despite having BJP Government in the state, BJP MP from the state capital, BJP Mayor in the city and the BJP legislator in the constituency.
Former chairman of the Technical Teacher's Training Institute (TTTI) Bhopal – Mahendra Singh Chouhan has alleged that the condition of urban areas have also gone worst besides rural areas under the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) rule in the State. Chouhan talking to the media persons here on Monday said, “The law and order of the state capital and other major cities of the state is in the hands of goons, the condition is so worst that the jewellery considered as the splendor for women has gone missing from their necks with the fear of chain snatchers whose morale is so high that they do not hesitate in snatching chain from women’s neck from near the chief minister’s house. Women are not even safe in the State capital.”
He said that people residing in the Narela assembly constituency of the state capital are facing problems to get the basic facilities like water, electricity and law and order. BJP government and the BJP MlA of the constituency are cheating with the people of the constituency in the name of development. The ten day ‘Jan Jagran Yatra’ starting from May 13, would focus on these issues, he added. The Senior Congress leader said that the poor condition of the constituency are known to all, since last ten years there is the rule of Muscle power in this area. The legislator of the constituency has earned notoriety for patronizing Satta, forcible land acquisitions, goondaism and illegal trade of liquor, he added. He said that the ten day Yatra would pass from all the wards of the constituency and efforts would be made to reach every household of the area.
