The Congress in the city will lodge its strong protest against the Global Investors Summit scheduled here on October 22 and 23. Informing this, Congress MlA and former Madhya Pradesh Youth Congress Committee president Jeetu Patwari here on Monday said that during the investors summit, the Congress leaders and workers will show black flags to all big industrialists like Ambani and Adani.
Talking to the media persons, Patwari said every year these industrialists participate in the global investors’ summit, make tall claims and show a pipe dreams of investment windfall in the state but in reality none of them make any investment. While on one hand, Government is spending crores of rupees on investment summit, these industrialists in the name of making investment are only acquiring lands at cheap rates but are not interested in any investment.
In the past 10 years these industrialists have given any employment to the local youths. As a mark of protest, Patwari said the Congress leaders and workers will show black flags to these industrialists during their visit to the city for investors’ summit, he added.
