Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has alleged that the support to “anti national” sloganeering in Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and Hyderabad University by Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi has provided unnecessary energy to separatists and those who keep enmity with India.
BJP Madhya Pradesh vice president Rakesh Singh in a statement here on Wednesday said, “The way Congress VP Rahul Gandhi arbitrarily defining expression of freedom supported those who raised anti India slogans at JNU and Hyderabad University did not needed to think that his actions and this stand of his party would provide unnecessary energy to separatists and those who keep enmity with India.”
Singh further said that by defining the expression of freedom in wrong way Gandhi is not only harming the country buts is also harming his own party. Criticising the Government is not that wrong but anti national slogans and criticism could not be tolerated.
Our politics and freedom also depends on safety of our nation but the Congress vice president do not understands this and this put ups a question mark on his political maturity, he added.
He said that the secular brigade off and then takes cover of Dalits and presents wrong facts to proclaim themselves Messiah of Dalits. They forget that maximum Dalits, Schedule Castes and Schedule tribal reaches parliament and assemblies from the BJP.
The secular brigade is trying to become the backer of Rohit Vemula by expressing empathy but they forget that in the educational institutions it is the Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) that by encouraging backwards and Dalits acts as cover for them, he added.
He said that the politics remains short lived on the basis of lies and the truth is that neither his suicide has anything to do with the letters written by union minister Dattatreya neither his studies were affected by them.
