large numbers of people are participating in the rallies organised by the Congress as part of its Parivartan Yatra across the State. The Yatra would continue till May 10. MPCC President Kantilal Bhuria and leader of opposition in the assembly Ajay Singh addressed public meetings at Jabera, Pathariya, Pawai, Hata, Damoh, Gunnaur, Ajaygarh, Chandla, Maharajpur and Bamitha assembly constituencies on Sunday and Monday.
The two leaders are expected to address 26 public meetings in this duration. The Congress is raising issues of corruption, bad law and order situation, violence against women and malnutrition with the hope of making a dent in ruling party’s electoral prospects in the Bundelkhand region.
