TT Nagar police on Sunday arrested three persons, including a son of a sitting Congress MlA charge of molesting and physically assaulting a 29-year-old woman at TT Nagar area.
The three accused have been identified as Trilok Choudhary, Guddu Falid and Bablu Gupta. Police said the main accused Trilok Choudhary is the son of Congress MlA Suresh Choudhary from Sabalgarh under Morena district. Trilok works is a contractor.
Police said the incident took place on Sunday night when the victim was on her way back to home at Banganga. Accused Trilok and his two friends spotted her and started teasing. When the victim reached at Hotel Darbar the trio then started passing obscene comments and offered to pay for accompanying them for the night. When the victim reacted to their indecency manner they started abusing and assaulting her.
The main accused held her in his arms and when the victim raised alarm, locals and commuters rushed and rescued the victim. The accused persons tried to escape from the spot but were overpowered by locals. later the accused was later handed over to TT Nagar police.
The other two accused —Guddu and Gupta escaped from the spot but were later arrested. The police have registered a case under Section 354, 323, 294 and 34 of the IPC.
The victim is a Banganga resident and was on her way back to home from his work. She was horrified by the incident and was later provided first aid treatment.
